Hours of work: 15 hours per week of TA3 role (9.00-12.00 Monday to Friday) & 5 hours per week of MDSA role (12.00-13.00 Monday to Friday).
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave).
As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.
Fixed term for: 4 months, with the possibility to extend.

Mayfield Church of England Primary School is a small, welcoming village school at the heart of the village community.

We are seeking a friendly, caring and efficient Teaching Assistant to join our supportive staff team from 2nd September 2026 . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school-based experience who is passionate about working with children and contributing to a nurturing learning environment. Training will be provided where necessary.

Salary: Single Status Grade 4, Point 9 to Point 10 (£25,185-£25,583 pro rata) – TA3 Role.

Single Status Grade 2, Point 4 (£24,413 pro rata) – MDSA Role.

The ideal candidate will be:
