The Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS) seeks to appoint a competent and enthusiastic Administrator with excellent experience and skills to join our team. The successful candidate will join our busy administration team and provide support across the department, specialising in our MPharm programme.

You will be an experienced administrator with considerable previous relevant work experience in a busy office environment or with a relevant HNC and relevant work experience of administration in an office environment. Applications from individuals with excellent IT and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with well-developed team working abilities are welcomed. It is essential that applicants are able to use own initiative, can work to tight deadlines, juggling multiple tasks and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a positive student experience. . Familiarity with university administration would be an advantage.

To be considered for this role you will be IT literate with experience of Microsoft packages, MyPlace, and FMS-Agresso. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, possess good team working skills and be able to work with accuracy and attention to detail. You should also be experienced in organising your own workload and have the ability to work under pressure, using your own initiative. The successful candidate with also assist with departmental timetabling using SPlus and Enterprise software for all cohorts of students.

Previous experience of student administration in the Higher or Further Education Sectors and knowledge of student record systems would be an advantage.
