Aesthetic Practitioner: Laser Hair Removal & Skin

INJECTUAL | Shoreditch & Elephant & Castle, London

We’re looking for a talented Aesthetic Practitioner to work across our Shoreditch and Elephant & Castle clinics, delivering exceptional laser hair removal and skin treatments as part of our growing, medically led team.

Experience with Candela laser systems is a big advantage. Electrolysis experience is particularly welcome, as is a strong interest in developing this specialism, with training opportunities for the right candidate.

Your role

You’ll guide clients from their first consultation through their treatment journey, combining excellent practical skills with honest advice, careful planning and attentive follow-up.

Laser hair removal

● Deliver safe, effective treatments using our Candela GentleMax Pro Plus, within your training and competence.

● Assess skin type, hair characteristics, medical history and suitability, carrying out patch tests in line with clinic protocols.

● Create personalised treatment plans, explain realistic expectations and review progress throughout each course.

● Provide clear preparation and aftercare advice, keeping accurate treatment records and clinical photographs in line with consent procedures.

Electrolysis

● Bring your existing electrolysis skills, or a clear enthusiasm for developing expertise in permanent hair removal.

● Provide sensitive, respectful care, with close attention to comfort, privacy and dignity.

● Support clients accessing gender-affirming hair removal, working closely with our medical team where appropriate.

● Develop your practice through training, supervision and constructive feedback.

Skin treatments and consultations

● Deliver skin treatments within your qualifications and experience.

● Assess clients’ concerns and recommend appropriate treatment plans and homecare.

● Recognise contraindications and escalate concerns promptly to the medical team.

● Build lasting relationships through thoughtful care and recommendations that put the client’s interests first.

Clinic life

● Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, treatment-room presentation, stock control and documentation.

● Work collaboratively with practitioners, front of house and clinic management.

● Support occasional reception duties when needed, including welcoming clients, managing bookings and answering enquiries.

● Take an active role in training, team meetings and improving the client experience.

What we’re looking for

You’re technically capable, warm and dependable. You take pride in the details, welcome feedback and care as much about the consultation and aftercare as the treatment itself.

Essential

● Relevant beauty therapy qualifications, with Level 4 laser and IPL qualifications or equivalent recognised training appropriate to the treatments you deliver.

● Proven professional experience in laser hair removal.

● A sound understanding of skin assessment, contraindications, treatment safety and aftercare.

● Excellent communication skills and a confident, reassuring manner.

● Strong organisation, accurate record-keeping and a proactive approach to clinic responsibilities.

● A commitment to inclusive, respectful care for clients of all genders, skin tones and backgrounds.

● Ability to work across Shoreditch and Elephant & Castle, with some Saturday availability.

We’d particularly love to hear from you if you have

● Hands-on experience with Candela systems, especially the GentleMax Pro or GentleMax Pro Plus.

● An electrolysis qualification and practical experience—or a special interest in learning.

● Experience supporting transgender and non-binary clients through hair removal.

● Additional qualifications in advanced facials, microneedling, peels or other skin and laser treatments.

● Experience with Zenoti or a similar booking and clinic-management system.

You don’t need every desirable skill to apply. Strong laser experience, excellent client care and a willingness to learn matter to us.
