Are you a Registered Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic looking for a fresh challenge — without stepping away from your clinical expertise?

At ExamWorks, we offer a unique opportunity to step into a Functional Assessor role, supporting the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

You’ll use your clinical knowledge to assess how health conditions and disabilities impact daily life — making a real difference to people’s access to support.

What you’ll be doing

  • Conducting face-to-face, telephone or video assessments
  • Understanding how physical, mental, cognitive or sensory conditions affect daily living
  • Analysing medical evidence and clinical information
  • Producing 2 high-quality reports per day
  • Working in a hybrid model (home + local assessment centre)

What you’ll need

  • Valid NMC or HCPC registration
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
