Join Our Team as an Ambulance Care Attendant (ACA) with N.I’s Leading Private Ambulance Company!

Are you passionate about providing compassionate care and support to those in need? We are seeking dedicated Ambulance Care Attendants (ACAs) to join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of patients during hospital appointments, discharges, and more.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with a two-person crew to transport vulnerable adults and children to hospitals and clinics throughout N.I.
  • Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to deliver appropriate care.
  • Provide necessary transportation services across Northern Ireland.
  • Conduct basic life support procedures when needed.
  • Assist with physical examinations under medical supervision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and prevent infections using aseptic techniques.
  • Communicate effectively using medical terminology in documentation and patient interactions.
  • Support triage processes during emergencies.
  • Engage in heavy lifting tasks to assist clients with mobility.

**What We’re Looking For:**

  • A full clean driving license with no more than 3 penalty points and candidates over 23 years old.
  • Proficiency in basic life support techniques and a valid FREC 3 certificate (self-funded training available for suitable candidates).
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques for infection control.
  • Understanding of medical terminology for effective communication.
  • Capability for heavy lifting tasks.
  • Experience in the caring sector is preferred but not essential.
