Full job description

As a Children's Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Westerham, you’ll support children with SEND in a structured school environment, providing both emotional reassurance and clinical care. Working alongside experienced staff, you’ll help manage complex healthcare needs safely.

Your responsibilities will include a blend of individual care and shared support, assisting with conditions such as tracheostomy care and diabetes, while following personalised plans and adjusting support as needed.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care.

A UK driving licence is required, and you’ll benefit from flexible shift options, including school-based day roles.
Fast‑track onboarding (subject to compliance).

Requirements:

  • Tracheostomy trained with a valid certificate

  • PMVA trained

  • Ability to follow detailed care plans
  • Calm and responsive in emergencies
  • Positive and patient attitude
  • Good written and verbal communication

  • Reliable and adaptable
