We're looking for a caring, dependable and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team on a permanent afternoon and evening rota.

About the Role

As an Afternoon & Evening Care Assistant, you'll support residents during one of the busiest parts of the day, helping to ensure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with personal care
• Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
• Supporting residents during afternoon and evening routines
• Assisting with meals and refreshments
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and dignity
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care

Location & Travel

Towy Castle Care Home is located near Carmarthen and is commutable from Llanelli, Ammanford, Llandeilo, Cross Hands, Kidwelly, St Clears, Whitland and surrounding areas.

Due to the rural location of the home and limited public transport options, applicants should be able to travel reliably to and from Towy Castle Care Home for all shifts.

Important Information

This role works a permanent 2:00pm - 10:00pm shift pattern on a 3 days on / 3 days off rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
