Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health Services Manager to oversee and coordinate healthcare services within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in senior care, assisted living, and specialised patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality health services across various settings including nursing homes, hospice care, and home care environments. This role offers an opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex cases, and contribute to the well-being of diverse patient populations, including individuals with disabilities and those requiring specialised dementia or Alzheimer's care. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong management skills, a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and medication administration, and experience working with vulnerable groups such as children and elderly patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise healthcare teams across multiple settings including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice services, and home care agencies.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational standards.
  • Oversee patient care activities such as medication administration, patient monitoring, and medical imaging procedures.
  • Coordinate case management efforts for complex cases involving dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or individuals with disabilities.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and competent team.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols while maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals on laboratory testing, anatomy assessments, and other specialised medical procedures.
  • Facilitate communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, and external agencies to optimise patient outcomes.
  • Monitor quality assurance metrics and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.

Skills

  • Proven experience in senior care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice services, and working with individuals with disabilities or requiring toddler or specialised child care.
  • Strong management skills with previous supervising experience in healthcare settings.
  • Competence in case management, patient care coordination, medication administration, and medical imaging procedures.
  • Familiarity with anatomy principles relevant to healthcare practice.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills tailored for working with children, elderly patients, and their families.
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures relevant to healthcare diagnostics is advantageous. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of compassionate and professional health services that meet the diverse needs of our community while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients alike.

Pay: £41,700.00-£53,700.00 per year
