Job Description:

A leading UK property investment company is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager to manage a portfolio of healthcare properties across the Midlands and South West.

This is a client-side Facilities Management role offering autonomy, flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of properties while working alongside an experienced in-house Property and Facilities team.

The business owns and manages one of the UK's largest healthcare property portfolios, supporting healthcare providers through modern, well-maintained medical centres and primary care facilities.

Regional Facilities Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 25-30 healthcare properties full postcode schedule available during the recruitment process.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quarterly property visits
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Manage hard and soft FM service providers
  • Oversee statutory compliance including fire safety, water hygiene and building compliance
  • Monitor contractor performance and service delivery
  • Manage reactive maintenance escalations
  • Support service charge budgets and expenditure monitoring
  • Assist with lifecycle planning and asset management programmes
  • Oversee minor works and refurbishment projects
  • Work closely with Property Managers and specialist consultants

Facilities Manager Requirements

  • Previous Facilities Management experience
  • Experience managing multiple sites or a regional property portfolio
  • Strong contractor management experience
  • Understanding of statutory compliance requirements
  • Experience working with service charge budgets or property expenditure
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • IWFM qualification
  • IOSH qualification
  • Managing Agent experience
  • Healthcare property experience
  • Commercial property experience
  • Hard FM experience
