Lead the Launch of Our New Winsford Depot!

We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Depot Supervisor to play a key role in the launch and success of our brand-new Winsford depot.

In this exciting, hands-on position, you'll lead a team of dedicated multi-drop pharmaceutical delivery drivers, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring life-changing medications reach patients safely and on time. You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced operation, taking ownership of daily depot activities, motivating your team, and delivering outstanding service every day.

Role Details:

  • 45 hours per week (5–6 days), Monday to Friday

  • Shift times are 06:00 am - 15:00 pm with reasonable overtime expected

  • 30 minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting a team of delivery drivers
  • Overseeing daily dispatch, route planning, and depot operations
  • Ensuring compliance with GDP, MHRA standards, and company SOPs
  • Managing rotas, holidays, absence, and staff development
  • Collaborating with senior management to meet KPIs and service targets
  • Conducting vehicle checks and maintaining depot safety and cleanliness
  • Leading on recruitment, inductions, and new-starter training
  • Providing driving cover when required

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or transport management role
  • Experience managing drivers and fleet logistics
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety (GDP/MHRA knowledge advantageous)
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision‑making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  • Subject to DBS and reference checks
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
