Job overview

A private individual is seeking a reliable and organised visiting carer to provide support with personal care, household tasks, and transportation. This is a part-time role based in a first-floor flat, requiring 4-7 hours per week with flexibility for additional hours during periods when the client is alone. The ideal candidate will be calm, methodical, and committed to maintaining consistent routines and high standards of care.

Key responsibilities

The carer will visit the client's home to provide support with:

  • Personal hygiene and toileting needs
  • Household tasks including cleaning and laundry
  • Transportation to appointments

About the client

Age: 87

Medical conditions: Arthritis and Angiodysplasia

Care schedule: The client requires care for one-hour sessions 3-4 times per week, with the possibility of additional full-week support when they are alone.

Work environment

The client lives in a smoke-free and pet-free first-floor flat with lift access.

Working pattern

4-7 hours per week. Morning shifts are preferable.

Requirements

Spoken language: English (essential)
