Full job description

We are a small, family-owned private clinic based on Harley Street looking for a professional, reliable, and highly flexible Receptionist to join our friendly team. This is a permanent part-time position starting immediately

Working Hours: 3 days per week (24 hours) (Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday)

Shift times may vary between: 8:30am – 5:00pm 9:00am – 5:30pm

This role will also involve covering annual leave for our existing receptionist, so flexibility is essential.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Although your contracted days will be part-time, the days may change depending on clinic needs and holiday cover. We are looking for someone who:

  • MUST be flexible if working days need to be switched
  • Is reliable and dependable
  • Is available at short notice when required
  • Can adapt to the needs of a busy private clinic

DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Confirming patient appointments
  • Checking in and welcoming patients
  • Assisting patients with completing paperwork
  • Handling incoming parcels and outgoing post
  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Maintaining a tidy, organised reception area to a high standard
  • Ensuring every patient feels welcomed and comfortable
  • Supporting with additional tasks outside of reception duties when quieter

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 1 year of receptionist experience in a high-standard professional environment (essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • The ability to multitask and work independently
  • A team-player attitude
