Full job description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our friendly and supportive sales team. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to build or develop a career in medical sales, while learning how to manage and grow key NHS accounts.

You will help grow the use of Aquaflush by working closely with healthcare professionals and internal teams, ensuring patients have access to the right products and support. You will receive training and ongoing guidance to help you succeed.

This is a field-based role covering a regional territory. Occasional overnight stays will be required.

Key Responsibilities

You will be supported by the National Sales Manager and wider team, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Working towards and achieving agreed sales targets for Aquaflush across your key accounts
  • Managing and developing relationships with key NHS stakeholders within your territory
  • Planning and managing your territory and accounts effectively, including journey planning and preparation
  • Working closely with Clinical and Commercial colleagues to introduce and grow product usage across your key accounts
  • Building positive, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals in bowel and continence care
  • Attending regional events to represent Clinisupplies and raise awareness of products and services
  • Supporting NHS Trusts with patient access pathways through Care+/Nightingale+ programmes
  • Learning and confidently using the Clinisupplies selling process
  • Developing your understanding of how the NHS works across both primary and secondary care
  • Supporting the NHS formulary process and product submissions
  • Delivering Aquaflush product training to healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records using company IT systems, including CRM, calendars and reports
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues on regional and national projects
  • Supporting colleagues as required, including training and product rollouts

Experience Required

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn
  • Confident in building professional relationships
  • Well organised with the ability to plan weekly and monthly activities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Resilient and positive in a target-driven environment

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Knowledge of continence or medical products
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device sales
  • An interest in developing commercial and business skills
