Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable Production Supervisor to lead our hard-working production team. This is a pivotal role in our production operations, responsible for overseeing daily product manufacture, quality assurance, and fulfilment. You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced, start up environment and be excited about rolling up your sleeves and leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead in daily production and fulfilment activities—this is a hands-on role.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality, food safety and team health and safety.
  • Organize and coordinate shift schedules to meet production targets and order volumes.
  • Ensuring production KPIs are met throughout the day and that the team stays on schedule.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a small team of production and packing operatives.
  • Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate production records and traceability.
  • Identify and address process inefficiencies alongside the Operations Manager, streamlining workflows and improving operational efficiency.
  • Keep production and packing areas organised, clean, and audit-ready always.
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager and other stakeholders to align on stock, orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Support with scaling up operations as the business grows—including equipment, staffing, and systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Leadership in food/drink production or a manufacturing environment and ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability: You’ll be managing shifting priorities and growing volumes and need to be able to organised, calm and reliable under pressure.
  • Hands-on mindset: Happy to do any tasks as required
  • Attention to detail: You care about every bar, box, and batch.
  • Highly organized: You can coordinate a team and a production line whilst sticking to KPIs.
  • Hunger to grow: You are ambitious and be a key player in a mission-driven startup.
  • Confident communication: Ability to give clear, constructive feedback.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable with systems, reporting, and light data input.
  • Multitasking, observation, and a hands-on approach to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
