Office Manager at Universal Gas Solutions

Location: Baldock, Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Full Time (42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm)

Salary range: up to £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + Bonus

Universal Gas Solutions is on the lookout for an experienced Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our day-to-day office operations, managing our Business Support Team, and ensuring our projects run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Responsibilities: You will oversee job scheduling for site operatives, weekly timesheets and updates in our CRM system.

Data Management: Ensure data quality across the team, including Accounts Payable and Receivable processes (invoices, orders, deliveries) and verifying information for new starters.

Training Coordination: Keep our training database up-to-date and assist with organising training courses for our operatives.

Team Management: Manage the Business Support Team's performance, development and output

Relationship Management: you will assist manage relationships and interactions with our key customers, suppliers and partners.

Quality and Safety Management: Assist in organising and reviewing weekly returns from site teams, ensuring actions are timely closed out on the QMS system, and manage office including weekly H&S checks.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

  • Keen attention to detail and robust work values.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years Administration experience
  • The role will be based in Baldock, Hertfordshire
  • Gas/Utility industry experience is preferable
