Full job description

LeMieux is the UK’s fastest-growing equestrian and lifestyle brand, with a global community and big ambitions. Our success is driven by talented people who share our passion for innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

We’re looking for a talented and organised Brand Copywriter who will be the guardian of the LeMieux voice, responsible for creating and overseeing written content across marketing campaigns, ecommerce, product launches, retail, trade, customer experience and corporate communications.

You will combine creativity with commercial thinking and organisation, crafting compelling campaigns, brand stories and headlines, while ensuring the thousands of pieces of content that support our products and customer experience remain accurate, engaging and consistent – and are delivered on time.

You will work across almost every department in the business and become a trusted partner to Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Product Design, Customer Service, Retail, Trade, HR and Leadership teams.

You will also play an important role in helping LeMieux embrace AI and content automation tools, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and scalability while ensuring all content remains distinctly human and true to our brand.

What You’ll Do

Brand Voice & Storytelling

  • Own and evolve the LeMieux tone of voice across all channels and audiences
  • Develop and maintain brand writing guidelines and editorial standards
  • Ensure consistency across all customer, retailer and internal communications
  • Act as the guardian of written brand standards across the business, where required

Product & Ecommerce Content

  • Own product descriptions, key features and product storytelling across all product launches
  • Work closely with Product Design teams to translate technical product features into compelling customer benefits
  • Maintain product content standards and consistency across all digital channels
  • Support the ongoing management of product information and content databases, and play an active role in process development and improvement

Campaigns & Marketing Content

  • Create campaign headlines, messaging frameworks and launch copy for seasonal collections and major brand campaigns
  • Write compelling copy for websites, landing pages, email marketing, social media and digital campaigns
  • Help develop scripts, storyboards, captions and supporting copy for video content

Retail, Trade & Customer Experience Content

  • Create content for point-of-sale materials, retail activations, events and exhibitions
  • Support trade marketing communications and retailer content requirements
  • Develop customer-facing content including FAQs, warranties, care guides, buying guides and support materials
  • Support the development and maintenance of customer journey content, including returns processes and service communications

AI & Content Innovation

  • Champion the responsible use of AI tools to improve content creation workflows
  • Develop scalable content frameworks, templates and prompt libraries to increase efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive content tasks while maintaining brand quality and accuracy
  • Help establish best practice for AI-assisted content creation across the business
  • Continuously explore emerging tools and technologies that improve content quality, consistency and speed

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • Significant copywriting experience within a consumer, retail, ecommerce or lifestyle brand; or with these types of brands in a freelance or agency capacity
  • Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Proven ability to work with, develop and manage a distinctive brand tone of voice
  • Experience creating both emotionally engaging brand content and commercially focused sales content
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, ecommerce and CRM content
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail

Desirable

  • Experience within equestrian, sports, fashion, outdoor or lifestyle sectors
  • Experience working with AI content tools and content automation workflows
  • Understanding of SEO and ecommerce content best practice
  • Experience managing large product catalogues and content databases
  • Experience creating technical, compliance or customer support content

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear, distinctive and consistently applied LeMieux tone of voice
  • Stronger customer engagement through compelling storytelling and content
  • Efficient and scalable content creation processes supported by AI and automation
  • High-quality product and customer experience content that supports conversion and loyalty
  • A trusted content partner for teams across the business
  • A written brand experience that reflects the quality, innovation and ambition of LeMieux
