Medical Copywriter jobs

Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days
Shifts: Monday to Friday, between 08:30 – 17:00
Location: CareCo HQ, Braintree, CM77 7AT - 4 days minimum on site

Our words are a huge part of how we present ourselves, and this role gives you the opportunity to shape them across campaigns, advertising, email, web, retail and product.

We’re after somebody who can take an idea or a brief and craft something clear, engaging and persuasive. It might be campaign storytelling, it might be a product description, it might be an email subject line. The key thing is – you know how to use words to make something happen.

You’ve got an ear for language and a strong sense of what sounds right – and you can explain why something doesn’t. You genuinely enjoy the craft of writing and understand the difference between writing good content and writing good copy. And you bring an artistic sensibility to the page, tempered by an understanding that this is commercial writing. Every word has a purpose, an audience and a job to do.

You’ll bring:

• An instinct for tone, rhythm and language.
• The ability to write clearly, persuasively and with concision.
• An understanding of brands and the importance of a consistent and distinctive tone of voice.
• Good commercial judgement and an understanding of how a distinctive brand voice builds value over time.
• High standards for your own work.
• A genuine interest in writing, advertising, brands and communication.
