We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Castle Lane Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. This role is essential in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products

- Verify prescription information and ensure that all medications are labeled correctly.

- Assist customers with inquiries regarding medications, dosage, and side effects, providing clear and accurate information.

- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication inventory, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare and package medications for delivery or pick-up, ensuring proper storage and handling.

- Collaborate with pharmacists to manage medication therapy and provide support in patient care initiatives and services

- Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications and supplies.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software is preferred.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication classifications is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
