The Courier Company is a specialist Dangerous Goods carrier based at East Midlands Airport that has been going for over 30 years. We pride ourselves in the service we provide to our clients

We currently have a vacancy for a Driver to join our growing but close-knit team who make deliveries for our clients late at night and early mornings. This service is to hospitals and airports, this is an essential service that they receive these goods for their patients.

The expected 32 hours per week over 4 shifts, Monday - Thursday, although you may be required to work overtime on very busy days, we try to avoid this as much as possible, but our services can be high demand. Working hours will be variable and set the week before. Typical start times will be between Midnight and 2.00am.

Yes, we care about the service we provide and our clients, but we also care about our employees ensuring they are supported.

What are asking of you?

· Collecting consignments from clients and airports.

· Delivering consignments safely to Hospitals out of hours

· Delivering consignments to airports for export

The Ideal candidate will have:

· Experience in a driving role.

· Flexible 'can do’ attitude to work.

· Great time management skills.

· Be happy to work on their own in the evenings

· As self-starter

We offer a competitive salary, driving bonus scheme and benefits. Previous experience in a driving role is not essential but would be an advantage. Full training will be given where required in the specialist areas of our business.
