Electronics Production Operative RVL | Matfield, near Tonbridge, Kent | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week | Salary £24,785.00 – £29,000 DOE

RVL is a well-established electronics design and manufacturing company with over 30 years' experience. Based in Matfield, near Tonbridge Kent we work with a wide range of domestic and international clients across sectors including medical, industrial, security and automotive. We have a strong reputation for producing high-quality, reliable products, and offering an exceptional service.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Electronics Production Operative to join our team. This is a great opportunity to become part of a successful and forward-thinking business where your contribution will play an important role in supporting our Production operations. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team in an environment where commitment, teamwork, and personal development are genuinely valued.

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a key role in the assembly of products for our clients around the world. In this varied role you will receive specialist training in assembling and testing electronic products. You will liaise with senior staff to ensure quality standards are kept to our highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, build and test to agreed specification
  • Assemble and fabricate components for Prototype development builds
  • Support other Manufacturing areas as required
  • Maintain build and inspection documentation records
  • Follow and comply with Health and Safety requirements

Skills and Attributes

  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Good fine motor skills
  • Keen eye for detail

Prior electronic assembly experience, preferably with IPC610 and IPC7711/22 training, would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be given

What We Offer

We offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with 37.5 flexible working hours a week and a possible early finish on Fridays.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a flexitime basis. Salary is dependent on experience.
