The successful candidate will be well supported in this role, with ongoing technical assistance from specialist external partners ensuring expert guidance is always available.
It’s a varied role that is critical to keeping our operations running smoothly, from cleaning to supporting experiments. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking to suppliers, arranging repairs and servicing of equipment, and confident to resolve issues independently. Every part of the role is important and requires dedication and attention to detail.

- Willingness to learn new techniques and equipment
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Commitment to laboratory safety and good working practices
Desirable:
- Pharmaceutical sector experience
- Pilot plant experience
- Experience of working in a laboratory environment (industrial or academic)
- Experience of operating and maintaining lab equipment. E.g. Fume hoods, stability cabinets, pumps, balances etc (Specific training will be given)
- Work experience in any sector where problem solving and communication with customers or suppliers was an important part of the role.
Oz-UK will provide:
- Training on laboratory procedures, safety and equipment
- On-the-job mentoring from experienced Scientists
- Opportunities to expand technical skills and responsibility over time
- Enhanced pension scheme and annual leave (based on 25 days plus bank holidays).
