As an operator in an aerospace environment you will be responsible for the removal of parts, paint & treatments of customer returned units using hand tools. During this process you will also support testing, warranty and engineering requirements.

• Removal of parts and protective coatings from propeller blades .

• Work to specifications and business procedures.

• Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the process.

• Highlight and record defects.

• Work to H&S regulations and understand the risks within the environment.

• Support engineering / quality investigations and project work as and when required.

• Support cost-out/lean initiatives, EHS/ergonomic activities, housekeeping inspections and continuous improvement projects.

• Book in parts and be trained to use various lifting devices.

• The ability to work with hand tools.

• The ability to utilise detailed manuals, drawings and other documentation to complete the task.

• High level attention to detail.

• High quality and accurate work output

• Good manual dexterity.

• Good communication skills.

• Self-motivated and the ability to work within a team.

• Ability to work varied shift patterns when required.
