Full job description

Account Executive - Mid-Market | UK

Who we are

CameraMatics is one of the leading players specialising in Connected fleet operations. It is a platform that enables organisations that depend on commercial vehicles to provide IOT data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations.

At CameraMatics, we are ZERO – Zero accidents, Zero Emissions.

We help our clients improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of their vehicle fleets that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the backbone of our planet, including transport and haulage, construction, utility and service fleets, manufacturing and much more. Our mission it to help revolutionise our clients’ fleet operations at scale.

Working at CameraMatics means you’ll help define the future of fleet technology and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting portfolio of SaaS solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Smart device apps, Driver Workflows and sustainability solutions. As part of a dynamic and ambitious company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make a real impact as we build and scale for the long term.

About the role:

CameraMatics is continuing at full speed, on its path, as a high-growth company, and is looking for an experienced account executive to hyperdrive growth in the company’s next chapter. You will be part of the fast paced new business team and be responsible for all the new business within the mid-market UK region.

In this role, you will:

  • Report to the VP Enterprise and be an integral member of the EU sales team, contributing to the development and execution of the overall business and organisational strategy.
  • Achieve the sales goal for the UK markets with a strong focus on the mid-market fleets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy based on data analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Develop high-accuracy forecasts on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and have a strong understanding of factors influencing performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and SDR teams to ensure quality lead volume across multiple channels.
  • Provide input into new market entry and early sales feedback in market.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • 3+ years sales experience in sales (SaaS technology preferred).
  • Strong operational, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and lead teams through rapid and difficult transition.
  • Experience leading teams with strong outbound / cold-calling practices.
  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Ability to mentor and coach teams to become high performers.

Are you right for this role?

· You need to be willing to put in the work: CameraMatics sales are complex. You will need to learn about businesses where you previously had little knowledge. The payoff for this is rewarding, but you must be willing to work towards it.

· At CameraMatics we are a high performance team and we help each other out by sharing best practices and focus on winning as a team, so need you to contribute towards a high performance team winning on all fronts.

· We need everyone in sales to have a growth mindset, and what’s good today, isn’t good tomorrow. you should also have a curious mindset and continually ask to develop your knowledge and skill set to help you perform better.

What you'll earn

  • £80k-£120k+ 1st Year OTE, with commission uncapped - accelerators kick in once you pass target, so over-performance pays disproportionately.
  • Guaranteed ramp protection for the first 6 months while you build your pipeline, so you're not carrying the risk of a slow ramp.
  • Joining KPI bonus

Why this is real, not a job-ad promise

  • The majority of our AEs hit or beat target last year.
  • Our top performers earn well above OTE - we are happy to talk specifics at offer stage.
  • We're a post-Series B business growing fast, with landmark clients including Royal Mail, Wolseley and Calor. You'd be joining momentum, not a gamble.

The patch and the support behind you

  • Full UK territory and pipeline opportunites — not a cold start from zero.
  • Inbound leads and dedicated SDR support, plus a proper marketing engine behind you (demand gen, SEO, new marketing leadership), feeding a qualified pipeline.
  • Modern stack — Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, Co-pilot, Claude, Nooks, Competitor intelligence— so you're selling, not admin-ing.

Where it goes

  • A clear path to Senior AE / team lead as we scale — we promote from within.

· Flexible working

· Private healthcare

· Uncapped commission

· Latest smart tech including phone/laptop.
