National Sales Training & Enablement Manager – Medical Devices (Urology)

Location: UK (Field based & national travel)

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Are you a confident, driven sales training professional with a passion for healthcare innovation? Join one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic medical device companies in the UK — Optimum Medical — and help us improve patient care across the UK.

Why Optimum Medical/Vyne?

We’re building the most people-focused healthcare company in the industry. We want to be the service and brand that people turn to whenever they need a medical device — from healthcare lubricants and urology products, to transforming healthcare partnerships through service excellence.

We never sit still. Our culture is fast-paced, creative, and full of energy. We live by our mantra: Constantly Create Better — and we’re looking for a National Sales Training & Enablement Manager who shares that mindset.

About the Role

We are looking for a National Sales Training & Enablement Manager to develop our UK Commercial team to succeed in a fast paced, relationship driven NHS environment. This role will focus on building the skills, behaviours, and commercial mindset required to grow accounts, influence complex healthcare systems, and deliver service led differentiation.

You will work in the field as part of our commercial function, embedding best in class approaches to account management, stakeholder engagement, and value-based selling, ensuring our teams consistently deliver on our mantra: Constantly Create Better.

What You’ll Be Doing

Training & Capability Development

  • Design and deliver training programmes tailored to the UK commercial roles across Primary & Secondary Care
  • Equip teams with the capability to:

o Build and grow NHS accounts (Trusts, ICSs, PBPs, PCNs, Care Homes)

o Navigate complex healthcare systems and decision-making structures

o Deliver consultative, value led conversations aligned to patient outcomes

o Position both product solutions and service offerings (including Vyne DAC and VyneOnline)

  • Lead onboarding and induction programmes to accelerate time to effectiveness

Field Coaching & Skill Embedding

  • Conduct regular field visits to coach Territory Managers in live customer environments
  • Support development in:
  • Relationship-building with MDTs, procurement, and clinical stakeholders
  • Engaging Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to influence adoption
  • Structuring effective customer calls and follow ups
  • Managing the full sales cycle (lead generation → conversion → aftercare)
  • Reinforce best practice in territory planning, pipeline management, and account growth strategies

Driving Commercial Excellence

  • Build capability in areas critical to success in the role:
  • Account planning and strategic growth
  • Driving formulary inclusion and prescription uptake
  • Identifying opportunities across community and hospital settings
  • Cross selling across product and digital solutions
  • Identifying best practice and standardising across the teams
  • Drive CRM adoption and data-led decision making
  • Track performance metrics including conversion and onboarding speed
  • Ensure teams can confidently articulate:
  • Clinical value
  • Service differentiation
  • Digital transformation through VyneOnline

Partnership & Service-Led Selling

  • Train teams to position Optimum Medical & Vyne as a trusted partner, not just a supplier
  • Embed behaviours that support:
  • Long term partnership development
  • Collaboration with nursing teams and continence specialists
  • Delivering service excellence through Vyne DAC
  • Support the shift from transactional selling to solution and service led growth

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor the effectiveness of training through:
  • Sales performance metrics
  • Account growth and retention
  • Quality of customer engagement
  • Identify capability gaps and deploy targeted development solutions
  • Continuously evolve training in line with business strategy, market changes, and product innovation

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Clinical teams
  • Support rollout of new products, services, and digital solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in sales capability within the healthcare/NHS environment

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Strong experience in field-based healthcare or medical sales (NHS-focused)
  • Proven track record in sales training, coaching, or capability development
  • Deep understanding of NHS structures (ICSs, Trusts, Primary Care), Stakeholder engagement across clinical and non-clinical roles
  • Experience developing skills in: Account management, KOL engagement and Value based selling
  • Excellent coaching, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable

  • Experience in continence, urology, or medical devices
  • Exposure to DAC models or community prescribing pathways
  • Knowledge of digital health solutions or platforms
  • Coaching or training qualification

Personal Attributes

  • Energetic, dynamic, and aligned to a fast-paced, creative culture
  • Passionate about developing high-performing sales teams
  • Highly credible with experienced field sales professionals
  • Commercially driven with a strong focus on results and growth
  • Embodies the mindset: Constantly Create Better
