Description

Requiring strong and empathetic leadership, the role of the Head of Clinical Services will work to ensure that the highest standards of care and safety are continually delivered to both patients and employees.

Holding excellent communication, leadership and operational management skills, you will be a visible leader, encouraging staff to contribute to service plans and ensuring a high quality and efficient approach to service delivery, including remaining calm and controlled and solution focused in times of difficulty.

You will lead by example to inspire, motivate and encourage others, ensuing effective and clear communication, support, accountability and responsibility to deliver.

About you:

  • A qualified and UK registered nurse, with experience in a similar role.
  • An experienced, passionate and empathetic leader, with excellent communications skills to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your colleagues.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and care planning skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience of successfully managing significant organisational change
  • Demonstrates commercial focus and business development acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities that support organisational growth.
  • Competent and experienced in a range of clinical, management and leadership skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through clinical registration and further education and development.
  • Evidence of substantial post registration, continual professional development in management and clinically related and relevant subjects
  • Experience of advising and influencing senior managers and clinicians in relation to risk management and quality improvement.
  • Experience of complex budget management and evidence of working within financial limits.
  • In depth knowledge of the health care regulatory agenda and mechanisms including, but not limited to, CQC, safeguarding, Caldicott, data protection and CDAO regulations / legislation.
  • Evidence of continual updating in line with professional bodies
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.

Location: The McIndoe Centre, East Grinstead
Contract: Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: On Application
