General Practitioner role
Glasgow
Private Clinic
Monday to Friday (min 2 days a week)

As a General Practitioner Medical Screening, in Glasgow, you’ll step into a preventative-focused clinical setting where time and continuity are prioritised over volume. As a General Practitioner Medical Screening, you'll work with motivated adult patients who are actively investing in their health, using extended appointments to deliver meaningful care.

This is a role designed for clinicians who want to move beyond volume-driven general practice. You’ll have the space to focus on lifestyle medicine, prevention and personalised health planning, supported by structured appointment times and a stable weekday-only working pattern.

As a General Practitioner Medical Screening, you'll have autonomy to explore lifestyle medicine, preventative care and long-term patient engagement within a supportive and well-resourced clinical environment.

Package & Benefits

  • £9,800 to £11,000 per session, dependent on experience and agreement.
  • Up to £1,200 health-screening allowance.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekend shifts.
  • Structured appointment system with 15-minute GP consultations and extended health screening slots.
  • Full training provided in advanced health screening procedures.
About the Company

You’ll be joining a private patient-led primary care environment focused on preventative medicine and high-quality clinical interactions. The service supports adults who are proactively engaged in their health, with an emphasis on lifestyle improvement, early detection and long-term wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive primary care and preventative health assessments as a General Practitioner Medical Screening within an adult patient cohort.
  • Conduct clinical examinations, request investigations and interpret results to support diagnosis and care planning.
  • Perform procedures including blood taking, ECGs and smear tests as part of routine screening activity.
  • Provide lifestyle advice and support behaviour change through extended consultations and health coaching approaches.
About You

  • GMC registered General Practitioner.
  • Experience working as a GP, General Practitioner or in a Health Screener or Private GP setting is desirable.
  • Confident communicator with strong clinical IT proficiency and a patient-focused approach.
If you are looking for a more preventative, lifestyle-focused approach to practice, this General Practitioner Medical Screening opportunity offers the time and structure to truly make an impact.
