Occupational Health Screening Nurse

OH3 LTD –

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join our expanding team in the North East. OH3 has a busy central clinic in Gosforth, Newcastle & supports clients in Newcastle and the surrounding area at their sites . Our team of OHA’s, OHTs & OHP’s are friendly and supportive and look forward to welcoming our next team member.

Education

· Screening Nurse - RGN qualification, preferably with some Occupational Health Experience although full training & career development can be given for the right candidate looking to train in Occupational Health as a career.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Provision of health screening & health surveillance assessments to include: audiometry, spirometry, skin assessments, HAVS assessments
  • Safety Critical Medicals
  • Assisting OHP clinics for Offshore and driver assessments.
  • Day to day maintenance of health screening equipment & facilities
  • Recording & maintaining accurate, clear, concise medical records, written & electronic, observing confidentiality & data protection at all times
  • Ensuring safe storage of medical records & equipment when offsite
  • Maintaining high professional standards at all times
  • Work to strict protocols & procedures set by OH3 & in line with SEQOHS accreditation

Skills & Experiences

  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Energetic & enthusiastic approach to work
  • Good IT skills, use of Excel, Word, Outlook and web-based applications.
  • Willingness & ability to learn new techniques & skills
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Experience in a health screening is desirable.
