Learning Partner – Diagnostic and Surgical Services
Location: London (occasional travel needed)
Contract Type: Permanent (Hybrid role)
Salary: up to £55k (Depending on experience)
About the role
As a Learning Partner with a diagnostic & surgical services clinical background, working in our Learning and Development Team you will play a key strategic role in developing the capability of our clinical workforce across Diagnostics and Surgical Services. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, you’ll identify learning needs, design and deliver engaging development programmes, and help shape the future of the Cora Academy and deliver L&D projects from our People Strategy, enabling colleagues to grow and thrive
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically experienced professional who is passionate about learning and development, workforce capability, and improving patient outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to influence career pathways, leadership development, apprenticeships, and digital learning while driving a culture of continuous improvement across Cora.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify learning needs and develop workforce capability plans.
- Collaborate with clinical subject matter experts to create learning resources that support clinical excellence and career progression.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Cora Academy, ensuring high-quality and engaging learning content.
- Design, deliver and evaluate blended learning programmes, competency frameworks and professional development pathways.
- Develop and support apprenticeship programmes, student placements and career development initiatives.
- Oversee mandatory learning programmes, monitor compliance and provide insights to support regulatory and patient safety requirements.
- Use learning data and workforce insights to evaluate programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Support leadership, mentoring, coaching and talent development initiatives to build future capability across the organisation.
- Line manage Learning & Development Specialists and Learning Coordinators.
- This is a hybrid or remote working role. If remote you may be required from time to time to travel to Cora sites.
Who we’re looking for
- Clinical qualification within a diagnostics or surgical speciality, with current professional registration.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across clinical and operational teams.
- Experience designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development programmes in a clinical environment, or strong project management/ research skills which evidence continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging face-to-face or virtual learning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use insights to improve learning outcomes.
- Experience coaching, mentoring or leading others, with excellent project or programme management skills.
- Sound understanding of clinical compliance, mandatory learning requirements and workforce development best practice.
