GLP Training is looking to bring on a an experienced Education Instructional Designer that will have an opportunity to make the role their own. This is a groundbreaking opportunity for a skilled designer to take the next stage in their professional development, you will be involved with growing and working on greenfield projects.

This is a role where you will have the independence to build content across a variety of disciplines in Worcester and to be at the forefront of education and the training industry. You will be having a significant impact in changing lives through providing educationally excellent content to some of the most well-known international employers in the world. As a Education Instructional Designer you will be providing high quality content that will support employees and employers UK wide in the next stages of their professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Designing and developing multimodal learning resources

· Writing measurable learning using instructional design methodologies and bloom’s taxonomy

· Create storyboards, scripts, e-learning modules and interactive activities for workplace simulations (Inclusive of AR and VR)

· Apply adult learning theories, cognitive load principles and evidence-based instructional design practices

· Design formative and summative activities that support learner progression

Key Requirements:

· Experience within instructional design, learning experience design or educational content development

· Developing digital learning content (Adobe, Canva, Synthesia, Camtasia)

· Developing SCORM compliant packages (Articulate, Storyline 360, RISE 360)

· Understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design theories

· Strong project management abilities

· Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design
