Job Title: Non-Medical Prescriber (ADHD Specialist)

About Us

Body and Mind Healthcare Clinic is a growing private service specialising in ADHD and ASD assessments and treatment. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a multidisciplinary team.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Non-Medical Prescriber with a special interest in ADHD to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, prescribing, and managing ADHD medication for children, ensuring safe and effective treatment in line with clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct medication evaluations for children diagnosed with ADHD

· Initiate and manage ADHD medication in line with NICE guidelines

· Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up appointments, including titration

· Assess treatment effectiveness and adjust prescriptions as required

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

· Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and the wider MDT

· Provide clear communication and education to patients and families

· Ensure compliance with all clinical governance, safeguarding, and CQC standards

Requirements

· Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (V300 or equivalent)

· Active registration with relevant professional body (e.g. NMC or HCPC)

· Experience in prescribing for ADHD (essential)

· Strong understanding of ADHD treatment pathways and medications

· Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

· Experience working in private healthcare settings

· Familiarity with shared care protocols

· Experience working with children and young people
