- Supporting Registered Nurse revalidation, reflective practice and ongoing professional development
- Providing coaching, mentoring and clinical guidance to staff and managers
- Contributing to clinical audits, incident reviews, quality improvement and clinical governance activity
- Working with Registered Managers and wider multidisciplinary teams to support safe clinical decision-making and care planning
- Undertaking holistic assessments for prospective residents and liaising with families and professionals throughout the assessment process, with training and support provided

- Strong clinical knowledge relevant to older people’s care and care home nursing
- Excellent communication, coaching and presentation skills, with the confidence to work across multiple services and professional teams
- A collaborative, supportive and reflective approach, with a genuine commitment to continuous improvement
Experience in care homes, clinical supervision, mentorship or reflective practice would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
