Supply Chain Coordinator

Due to expansion, we are looking for two proactive and highly organised Supply Chain Coordinators to join our team in Fordingbridge.

This is a varied, hands-on role offering an excellent opportunity to build valuable experience in global supply chain operations. You will help coordinate the smooth flow of components and finished goods, working closely with overseas factories, logistics providers and internal teams to keep orders progressing and support accurate, on time delivery.

Key duties

• Coordinate component and finished-goods requirements with international factories and supply-chain partners
• Monitor production schedules, order progress and expected completion dates
• Maintain regular communication with overseas factories and follow up on outstanding information
• Proactively identify potential material shortages, production delays or logistics issues
• Escalate risks and significant delays promptly to the Supply Chain Lead
• Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange and monitor international shipments
• Build positive working relationships with international factories, suppliers and logistics providers
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and other departments
• Manage suppliers throughout the onboarding process and re-approval, ensuring all required information and documentation are obtained
• Produce monthly supplier scorecards and coordinate regular supplier performance reviews
• Keep up to date with applicable Open General Export Licence (OGEL) conditions and help ensure ongoing compliance
• Assist with other supply-chain administration and operational activities when required
• Support purchasing activities where required, including raising purchase orders and monitoring supplier commitments

Role requirements

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time
• The ability to work effectively with internal teams and international suppliers
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• A proactive approach, with the confidence to follow up actions and identify potential issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT skills, including the daily use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience using an MRP or ERP system would be advantageous but is not essential
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Mandarin or Cantonese would be advantageous but is not essential
• Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, purchasing or order management would be beneficial but is not essential

• 36.5 working hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times

We provide full training on our technical products and processes. Experience within electronics or a similar technical industry would be beneficial, but a proactive attitude, strong organisational ability and willingness to learn are equally important.
