Job Purpose:
World leading supplier of manufacturing systems to large-scale aerospace, medical and automotive companies around the world.
Working in close partnership with our customers to solve complex engineering challenges, by using the ingenuity of our people in the application of advanced control techniques.
Our Engineering Graduate positions provide a challenging opportunity for you to gain a breadth of knowledge in the design and commissioning of automated systems. Additionally, you will gain a better understanding of how our organisation operates and how our people work together to solve problems.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
Detailed design and development of Automation Systems and Equipment (existing product range).
- Electrical design and development of automation systems
- Robot and control system programming and configuration.
- Creation of technical documentation.
- Working to product design standards.
- Working to departmental design procedures.
- Provide internal technical product support.
Skills & Experience:
- In house training provided, no previous design experience required.
- An ability to interpret electrical schematics is highly desirable.
- Problem solving, both as part of a team and individually.
- Communication and team working skills.
- Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Willing to travel throughout the UK & overseas if needed
Qualifications:
- B.Eng / M.Eng Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic degree qualification
