We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international medical technology business specialising in the design and manufacture of innovative healthcare and patient-care equipment. The business has a strong reputation within its sector and offers a supportive environment where engineers are encouraged to develop their skills and progress their careers.

As Design Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and development of medical devices, working collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing and wider technical teams. You'll contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and development through to design improvements and production.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years' design engineering experience
  • Experience designing Class III medical devices preferred; Class II considered
  • Strong 3D CAD and engineering design experience
  • Good understanding of design for manufacture and product development
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team

Package:

  • £40,000-£45,000 salary DOE
  • Hybrid working - 2 days from home
