About the Role

As our business evolves, we continue to invest in delivering an outstanding client experience by improving operational efficiency and quality assurance. We are seeking an experienced and highly capable London-based Installation & Quality Manager to become our dedicated project delivery representative in London and the South East.

This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced installer, joiner or project professional who enjoys working autonomously, solving problems and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Purpose of the Role

As our dedicated project delivery representative in London and the South East, you will support the full lifecycle of projects from site surveys through to completion and aftercare.

This is a practical, site-based role. We typically deliver two or three installations each month across London and the South East, allowing you to be closely involved in every project. You will carry out surveys and pre-installation checks, kitchen installtions working alongside our installation partners, undertake minor adjustments and remedial work, and remain involved through handover and aftercare.

Our Project Coordinators manage the wider scheduling, administration and logistics. You will provide Sustainable Kitchens’ practical presence, judgement and ownership on the ground.

Core Responsibilities

• Pre-Installation Checks & Project Preparation
• Undertake comprehensive site surveys and initial pre-installation inspections.
• Assist our Projects Team by planning installations and identifying project risks, including reporting any issues in dimensions, utilities, site access, or the overall project timeline.
• Oversee logistics and pre and post-installation tasks, such as stone templating and specialist supplier coordination.
• Carry out installations working alongside our installtion partners
• Deliver technical feedback, detailed photographs, and survey reports to facilitate project delivery.

Installation Activities & Project Delivery

• Act as Sustainable Kitchens’ dedicated on-site representative for each installation across London and the South East.
• Support and coordinate subcontract installers, suppliers and associated trades to maintain programme, quality and efficiency.
• Monitor installation progress and proactively resolve issues before they impact programme or client experience.
• Carry out quality inspections during and following installation.
• Complete snagging, adjustments, remedial works and minor joinery tasks where required.
• Coordinate client handovers and ensure projects are completed to Sustainable Kitchens’ quality standards.
• Provide regular progress updates, photographs and technical reports to the Projects Team.

Aftercare & Customer Experience

• Provide exceptional customer aftercare, acting as point of contact to clients and undertaking any warranty or follow-up visits.
• Identify opportunities to improve installation processes, quality standards and project delivery efficiency.
• Provide feedback to support ongoing product development and continuous improvement.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Defect and cost visibility: recording what went wrong, who is responsible and whether work is warranty, supplier liability or client variation.
• Health and safety: raising site risks and promoting safe working practices, without inadvertently making them responsible for areas outside their control.
• Installer performance: briefing installation partners, giving constructive feedback and helping develop a dependable London installer network.

• Head of Projects: overall schedule, priorities, capacity and performance.
• Project Coordinators: administration, information flow, logistics and project-system updates.
• London Installation & Quality Manager: site readiness, practical delivery, installation coordination, quality, client confidence.

Accountable For

• Projects in London and the South East delivered smoothly, on time and to programme
• Overall delivery experience and client satisfaction across your patch
• Quality standards maintained on site, through snagging and at handover
• Installation readiness and efficiency, including accurate survey information passed back to the Projects Team
• Site-based ownership of all live projects in London and the South East
• Early identification and resolution of delivery risks and issues

Key Relationships

• Clients – on-site point of contact, progress updates, handover and aftercare
• Head of Projects – project timelines, priorities, reporting and system improvement
• Project Coordinators – day-to-day delivery coordination and site information
• Design Team – survey feedback, dimensions and design amendments
• Production Team – readiness, sequencing, constraints and quality
• Installation partners and associated trades – performance, coordination and standards

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in kitchen installation, bespoke joinery or high-end residential construction.
• Excellent joinery and finishing skills.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen installation and associated trades.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• A professional, customer-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
• Good technical understanding of construction and site coordination.
• An eye for developing processes to improve the customer experience and operational efficiency.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at standard rate).

Working Style & Expectations

• This is a predominantly site-based role across London and the South East, with the remainder worked from home on reporting, planning and coordination.
• Standard hours are 37.5 per week, with flexibility around start times to suit site access and installation schedules.
• Occasional early starts or longer days are expected during key project stages, balanced by flexibility at quieter times.
• Some travel to our Bristol workshop will be required for team days and product training.
• Travel and overnight stays will be required for installations outside London but within the South-East area, with plenty of advance notice provided.
• Good planning and clear communication with the Projects Team are essential given the distance from our Bristol base.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
