Full job description

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE READING ON: This is a developmental role and the lower end of the earning range shown is our usual basic level for entry level roles (£30,000 - £35,000 basic) and the upper range our OTE figure - the earnings are realistic and based on what our existing colleagues in these roles achieve with training and support. In fact, they tend to earn more but we are very wary of over-hyping a Job Ad!

Moving on, as we often say, there are regular Sales and Product specialist roles, and then there is an opportunity in a business like ours, where every piece of work that any colleague performs, in whatever job they do, contributes, ultimately, to making someone's quality of life and mobility better. That is a product of genuine team effort.

Who are we? A British based, owned, and run, business celebrating our 50th anniversary as a manufacturer, importer and distributor of specialist seating and postural mobility products, focused on the users of our equipment. Although we are a successful commercial business, supplying the NHS and the private sector, both quality and care for the ultimate customer always comes before profit alone.

The role:

- Reporting to the National Sales Director for this area of our Wheelchair Services work, the role will entail supporting existing clients and developing new opportunities through assessments, attending clinics, and attending exhibitions and Trade Shows.

- The role requires visiting customer and healthcare establishments throughout the wider geographical area, but with a core focus on the area around Swindon.

- The RMS Regional Product Specialist is the subject matter expert for our product portfolio within the defined territory. As well as supporting customers and recognizing and developing upselling opportunities, the individual acts as an interface with our Customer Services colleagues, R&D, and Production, all to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and to maximize our market share through tailored solutions.

What are we looking for in you?

- Any workplace experience in a product related or Sales role, ideally for bespoke products is a plus although you will be trained and mentored by our highly experienced colleagues.

- Technical Proficiency with the ability to quickly understand complex technical or clinical information.

- Excellent interpersonal skills for presenting to customers and a wide range of contacts.

- A commitment to excellent Customer Service standards and the skills to match.

- Prepared to travel as required to service the customer base throughout the region. We are flexible on your location within the area stated.

We have a great reputation with our customers, which we never take for granted - could you guard that reputation but also help build our brand further and develop your own skills? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
