Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer specialising in dental equipment to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services to dental clinics and laboratories. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your laboratory experience, IT skills, and communication abilities in a dynamic environment. The position involves travelling to various locations, ensuring that dental professionals can deliver optimal patient care through reliable and well-maintained equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of dental equipment at client sites.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
  • Provide training and technical support to dental staff on the operation of complex laboratory and dental devices.
  • Maintain detailed service records and reports for each visit, ensuring accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Liaise with the technical support team to escalate unresolved issues promptly.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Travel regularly to various locations within the assigned territory, maintaining a flexible schedule to meet client needs.

Skills

  • Laboratory experience is highly desirable, with a solid understanding of biochemistry or related scientific fields.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and troubleshooting is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills in English are required to explain technical information clearly to clients and team members.
  • Valid driving licence is necessary for travelling between client sites reliably.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
