CTV Deckhand

Spectrum Vessel Services Ltd

Spectrum Vessel Services is a leading provider of Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operations, supporting offshore wind, survey, and marine projects throughout the UK and Europe.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Deckhands to join our expanding fleet on permanent, year-round contracts.

The Role

As a Deckhand, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Crew Transfer Vessels, working alongside experienced Masters and crews in the offshore renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily vessel operations and deck duties.
  • Supporting offshore personnel transfer activities.
  • Handling mooring operations and deck equipment.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of stores and equipment.
  • Participating in safety drills and emergency response procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
  • STCW Basic Safety Training.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Desirable

  • Previous CTV, workboat, fishing, offshore, or commercial marine experience.
  • MCA Efficient Deck Hand (EDH) qualification.
  • Offshore wind industry experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • GWO Slinger
  • Marine Craning experience
