Full job description
The Health & Safety Group is a leading UK provider of Mandatory and CPD-accredited training, delivering high-quality classroom sessions across a range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, Retail & Leisure, Manufacturing & Logistics, Hospitality & Catering, Office & HR, and Prisons & Corrections.

We are currently recruiting trainers with a qualified healthcare background (e.g. nursing, paramedicine, or similar) to deliver a variety of courses to our wide client base.
This role involves delivering:
- Mandatory Training – including practical Basic Life Support (BLS) and Moving & Handling
- People Moving & Handling – Train the Trainer courses – delivered in-house to clients such as hospitals, care homes, schools, as well as Manual Handling for office and warehouse environments
- CPD Training – including: Venepuncture & Cannulation, Tracheostomy, Enteral PEG Feeding, and Catheter Care
Essential Qualifications:
- A professional healthcare qualification, such as a nursing or paramedic diploma or degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Proven experience delivering People Moving & Handling, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Manual Handling training
- A formal teaching qualification, such as AET Level 3 (Award in Education and Training) or equivalent - or currently working towards one
- An up-to-date DBS certificate (enhanced)
- A valid People Moving and Handling - Train the Trainer certificate
- A valid Immediate Life Support or First Aid at Work certificate

Requirements:
- You must have or be willing to take out professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Flexibility to travel to various training locations as required (own car preferred)
- Availability to deliver training at least 2 days per week
- Own laptop with Microsoft Office installed and ready for use
- Professional appearance and conduct, representing our brand with confidence
- A genuine passion for teaching and empowering others through high-quality training
