Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Non Medical Aesthetics Teacher to inspire and educate aspiring professionals in the exciting field of aesthetic treatments. In this role, you will deliver engaging training sessions, share expert knowledge, and guide students through practical skills essential for success in non-medical aesthetic procedures. Your enthusiasm and clear communication will empower learners to excel, ensuring they gain the confidence and competence needed to thrive in this rapidly evolving industry. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the next generation of aesthetic practitioners while advancing your own teaching career.

In 14 years of running Skin Philosophy Training, I've watched talented tutors burn out in other schools because the job wasn't really teaching — it was teaching plus registration, plus marking, plus admin, plus chasing students, plus emails on weekends.

We built ours differently.

Our tutors teach. Our central team does everything else — registration, marking, theory delivery, exam booking, student support, marketing, enrolment, travel bookings. Calendar planned three months out. Groups capped at six students so the teaching is actually good.

That's why our tutors stay. Read any of our Trustpilot or Google reviews and you'll see their names.

We're looking for someone to join that team. Here's what we need:

→Experience working as a skin and laser therapist in facials, advanced skin treatments and laser - Qualified across Level 2 to Level 5 aesthetics (or most of that range — I'd still like to talk) → VTCT / iTEC teaching experience preferred → Someone who teaches because they love it, not because they've run out of other options

Locations across the UK and Ireland

Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive training programs on non-medical aesthetic treatments, including skincare, facial techniques, and client consultation skills
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans that incorporate theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations
  • Assess student progress through evaluations, feedback, and hands-on assessments to ensure mastery of skills
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages participation, questions, and professional growth
  • Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and regulatory standards to ensure training content remains relevant and accurate
  • Provide guidance on best practices in communication skills, IT tools for record-keeping, and organizational methods for managing client appointments and treatment plans
  • Support students in developing their confidence in areas such as skincare product knowledge, hygiene protocols, and customer service excellence

Requirements

  • Proven experience in non-medical aesthetics or related beauty therapy fields with a strong understanding of aesthetic treatments
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and engagingly
  • Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable; ability to motivate and inspire learners
  • Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage schedules, and track student progress effectively
  • Basic IT proficiency for creating digital learning materials, managing online resources, and maintaining records
  • Knowledge of plumbing or related technical skills is a plus for understanding equipment setup or maintenance in treatment spaces
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster a supportive classroom environment and facilitate effective student-teacher interactions

Join us in shaping talented professionals who will elevate the standards of non-medical aesthetics! This role offers an energetic environment where your expertise makes a lasting impact on students’ careers while allowing you to grow as an educator in a vibrant industry.
