Full job description

Goodfish Group is the UK's leading privately-owned contract manufacturer of plastic and composite components. Our expertise in plastic extrusion, injection moulding and tooling has been developed through successive acquisitions of leading companies in each discipline. Our customers are predominantly leading multi-national businesses in automotive, aerospace, medical, heating, cooling, retail displays, electrical and water distribution, and building products. We are looking to expand our capabilities in line with growing industry demands.


We are looking for two reliable and detail-oriented Mixing & Blending Operators to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and blending raw materials to meet precise specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating mixing and blending machinery in accordance with production requirements.
  • Measuring and weighing raw materials accurately.
  • Monitoring the mixing process to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health & safety regulations.
  • Carrying out routine machine checks and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
  • Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or plastics processing environment or a keen interest in starting a career in engineering or manufacturing.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards.
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Hours:

37 hours per week Monday – Wednesday. Rotating weekly between days and nights

  • Nights: 5:50pm – 6:10am
  • Days: 5:50am – 06:10pm
