Your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for individuals in need, including supporting the NHS, hospitals and care homes to deliver essential services.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll maintain and service medical equipment, ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction. You’ll travel between sites (including customer homes) and be responsible for installations, collections, repairs and cleaning in line with infection control policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair Drive Medical and competitor products
  • Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency
  • Carry out unplanned and PPM and repairs
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols
  • Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork
  • Participate in the on-call rota
  • Support additional duties as required by management

What We’re Looking For
Training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Manual handling and driving skills
  • Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers
  • Knowledge of medical equipment such as profiling beds, hoists, wheelchairs, and more
  • Understanding of infection control and inventory management
  • Familiarity with LOLER regulations and service administration would be advantageous

Other desirable skills and experience:

  • PAT Testing
  • First Aid
  • Fire Warden certification
