Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for a range of equipment and systems. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your mechanical knowledge and technical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.

Territory covered: East Glasgow and Lanarkshire, including Hamilton (ML1, ML3), Motherwell & Wishaw (ML1, ML2), East Kilbride (G74, G75, G76), Rutherglen & Cambuslang (G72, G73), Uddingston & Blantyre (G71, G72), Bellshill (ML4), Coatbridge & Airdrie (ML5, ML6), and Northern Corridor areas including Chryston, Stepps and Moodiesburn (G33, G69).

Responsibilities

● To service machines, making sure the correct spare parts are obtained in a timely manner and consumables are not running out.

● To diagnose and fix faulty equipment.

● To deal with breakdown calls within the required lead time.

● To clean, wash and polish the machines.

● To adhere to the routine procedures and policies.

● Represent Me Group International PLC with customers and suppliers maintaining the Company’s best interests at all times.

● To observe and adhere to the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Acts and any amendments made there to.

● To carry out any other duty as reasonably requested by the ME Group (UK) General Management or the ME Group Board.

Requirements:

● Clean driving licence.

● Checkable background.

● Basic understanding of computers.

● Basic fault finding skills.

● Excellent organisational and communication skills.

● Must be flexible, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.

● Candidates must live on or near territory.

● Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and engineering, eager to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment while continuously developing their skills.

Pay: £28,769.92 per year
