Field Service & Sales Manager

Aspect Maintenance – Drive Growth. Lead Delivery. Build Lasting Client Partnerships.

Aspect Maintenance is looking for a commercially driven Field Service & Sales Manager who can win new business, grow existing accounts, and lead service delivery on the ground. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who understands the trades, spots opportunities, and turns relationships into revenue.

If you have strong multi-trade, building fabric, plumbing and/or heating experience and thrive in a role that blends sales, account management, and operational leadership, we want to hear from you.

About Aspect Maintenance

Aspect Maintenance is a trusted provider of comprehensive building maintenance solutions. We pride ourselves on reliability, quality workmanship, and long-term client relationships. Our engineers deliver across multiple trades, and our success is built on repeat business and strong partnerships.

The Role

This is a sales-led leadership role at the heart of our business. You will act as the main commercial point of contact for clients—managing accounts, identifying new maintenance opportunities, preparing competitive proposals, and securing ongoing work for our engineering teams.

You will also play a key role in ensuring work is delivered to a high standard through site visits, quality checks, and close coordination with field engineers—because great delivery drives repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and convert new maintenance opportunities within existing and new client accounts.
  • Pitch Aspect Maintenance services confidently, tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term service agreements.

Account Management

  • Own and manage client relationships end-to-end, becoming a trusted advisor for maintenance solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Build long-term partnerships that lead to ongoing and expanded contracts.

Quoting & Tendering

  • Prepare accurate, competitive quotes and tenders aligned with client requirements and commercial targets.
  • Work closely with engineers to scope works effectively and price jobs profitably.

Field Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct site visits to assess requirements, oversee quality, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Support and coordinate field engineers to ensure efficient scheduling and high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure work meets both technical standards and client expectations.

Market & Commercial Awareness

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
  • Feed market insights into pricing, service offerings, and growth strategy.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong multi-trade background, ideally including building fabric, plumbing and/or heating.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within maintenance, FM, construction, or service-based industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of trade environments and maintenance operations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience producing quotes, tenders, and commercial proposals.
  • Ability to lead by example and collaborate effectively with field engineers.
  • Full, valid driver’s licence.

Desirable

  • Relevant trade qualifications.
  • Experience in a client-facing service or facilities management role.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or maintenance management software.

What We Offer

  • £50,000 starting salary with regular reviews PLUS monthly profit share bonuses
  • Clear opportunities for career progression and professional development.
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture.
  • Company vehicle.
  • A role with real influence over business growth and client success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Company pension
