Job Overview

Tigerlily Training is one of the UK's leading First Aid Training Providers, trusted nationwide for delivering engaging, practical, and professional courses. We are expanding our network and seeking qualified, dynamic, and passionate freelance trainers to deliver our accredited first aid programs across multiple regional venues.

This is a flexible, field-based role perfectly suited for professionals looking to manage their own schedule while delivering high-quality training directly to schools, nurseries, corporate workplaces, and public venues.

Working Arrangements & Travel Coverage

  • Job Type: Freelance / Self-employed
  • Location: Nationwide (UK venues). You can be based anywhere in the UK but must be open to commuting across a designated regional hub.
  • Travel Requirements: Active daily travel to various training settings is a core requirement of this role. Candidates must have a valid driving licence and their own reliable transport.
  • Schedule: High demand for weekend work, particularly Saturday availability-(minimum 2 per month within your region).

Core Responsibilities

  • Present accredited First Aid, Paediatric First Aid, and Work-Based courses utilizing provided lesson plans and presentation materials.
  • Conduct practical assessments and support learners to achieve optimal training outcomes.
  • Ensure all training venues are prepared, equipment is safely deployed, and post-course compliance documentation is processed promptly.
  • Proudly represent the Tigerlily Training brand by providing a welcoming, professional, and compliant classroom environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of active first aid training delivery experience.
  • Qualifications: A recognised teaching/training qualification alongside up-to-date First Aid at Work (FAW) and Paediatric First Aid certificates.
  • Equipment Kit: Trainers must possess or be willing to source their own training kit, including:
  • 9 Total Manikins (3 Adult, 3 Junior, 3 Infant)
  • 1 full-size AED training unit (x3 units altogether)
  • A working laptop, projector, standard demonstration first aid kits, consumables such as manikins wipes, face shields and training dressings.
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS check (Tigerlily can arrange this if required) and personal instructor insurance.
