Front of House Coordinator

Dalmeny House Dental — Worcester Park, Surrey (KT4 8SX)

Full-time · Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 5:15pm · £14.00-£15.00

About Us

Dalmeny House Dental is a family-owned, predominantly private dental practice in the heart of Worcester Park with a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional care in a calm, welcoming environment. We offer a full range of services — general dentistry, hygiene, cosmetic treatments, Invisalign and dental implants — and we pride ourselves on the long-term relationships we build with our patients and our team.

At Dalmeny House Dental, our people are at the heart of everything we do, because we care. We have built an environment where team members feel supported, empowered and genuinely look forward to coming to work.

The Role

We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Front of House Coordinator to be the face of our practice. From the moment a patient walks through our doors — or picks up the phone — you will set the tone for a comfortable, professional, five-star experience. You will work closely with our dentists, nurses and management team to keep the diary running efficiently and the day running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient journey — Warmly greet patients in person and over the phone, ensuring they feel relaxed and valued from arrival to departure.
  • Diary management — Oversee the appointment book, schedule follow-ups, and manage cancellations and reschedules to keep the diary running efficiently.
  • Administration & records — Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and handle day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Payments & billing — Process patient payments, issue receipts and manage claims (NHS and private plans).
  • Treatment enquiries — Confidently respond to patient questions about treatment options, payment plans and the services we offer.
  • Team collaboration — Liaise closely with our clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and a great experience for everyone.

What We’re Looking For

  • GROWTH - be pro-active and willing to try and implement new systems / protocols but also be able to provide solutions to better the patient journey
  • Experience - in a dental practice setting will be preferrable
  • Customer service excellence — A warm, empathetic and professional manner in person, on the phone and over email.
  • Organisation - High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • IT literacy - Comfortable with Microsoft Office and able to pick up practice management software quickly.
  • Experience - Previous dental or healthcare front of house experience is preferred; strong customer-facing experience from another sector will also be considered for the right candidate.
  • Communication - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attitude - Self-motivated and hard-working, with a friendly, can-do approach and a desire to grow with the practice.

What We Offer

  • £14.00-£15.00 per hour
  • New incentive to increase earnings when signing patients up to our dental membership
  • Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 5:15pm
  • Employee discount on dental treatment
  • Free on-street parking
  • Team socials and a friendly, supportive working culture
  • Continuous training and development — including exposure to cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and implant dentistry
  • The opportunity to grow with a practice that is actively expanding
