What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Supporting preparation and submission of regulatory documentation for medical device applications
- Maintaining and updating quality management systems and regulatory compliance records
- Liaising with regulatory bodies, notified bodies and internal teams on compliance matters
- Contributing to the interpretation and implementation of ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and design control requirements
- Assisting with post-market surveillance, adverse event reporting and complaint handling
- Supporting internal and external audits related to regulatory compliance
- Contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies for regulatory and quality matters
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 (Medical Device Quality Management Systems) and IEC 62304 (Medical Device Software Lifecycle Processes)
- Understanding of Class III medical device regulations and FDA or equivalent regulatory pathways
- Experience with regulatory documentation, submissions or compliance functions
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and quality teams
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have:
- Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) certification or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical device or regulated life sciences environment
- Familiarity with post-market surveillance and adverse event reporting
