Full job description

Creative Designer & Illustrator

We’re looking for a designer who brings personality to every stroke and obsesses over the details. If you can spot a misaligned pixel from a mile away and prefer drawing from scratch over pulling stock assets, this role is perfect for you.

We’re hunting for a hybrid creator: an illustrator who can build a brand identity from the ground up, and a designer who seamlessly jumps from high-end print to dynamic campaigns.

You don’t need a decade of corporate experience to get our attention. If your portfolio shows raw talent, technical craft, and a pixel-perfect mindset, we want to see what you can do.

The Role: From Blank Canvas to Final Export

Your day-to-day isn't just about making things look good. It’s about technical precision, creative problem-solving, and bringing ideas to life across:

  • Bespoke Illustration: Creating custom assets, icons, and campaign visuals that give our brand a unique, hand-crafted edge
  • Digital Storytelling: Building engaging social assets, motion graphics, and ad creatives
  • Precision Layout: Designing high-impact print collateral (product catalogues, flyers and large-format trade show graphics)
  • UI/UX: Designing site banners and UI components in Figma that balance strong aesthetics with a seamless user journey
  • Brand Execution: Ensuring our visual identity remains sharp, cohesive, and consistent across every touchpoint

Are you the right fit?

We value your eye, your hand, and your raw creativity over years of corporate experience.

The Essentials:

  • The Adobe Power Trio: You are fluent in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • The Illustrator’s Edge: You can actually draw. You understand weight, balance, and how to create bespoke graphics from scratch
  • Technical Precision: You have a strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and how to set up files for flawless print
  • Creative Curiosity: You don’t just execute a brief, you’re always looking for an innovative way to tell a story through a visual

The ‘Nice to Haves’:

  • Figma Fluency: You have a working knowledge of Figma (or the design logic to learn it quickly)
  • Motion Graphics: Experience bringing static designs to life with After Effects or Premiere Pro
  • A background in (or genuine curiosity about) tech, networking, or smart automation

Why Join Us?

  • Creative Freedom: We don't just want you to follow a brief; we want you to challenge it
  • Mentorship & Growth: Join a collaborative team that values your professional development and design craft
  • True Variety: Enjoy a diverse and fast-paced workload, jumping from print to digital, and campaigns to UX

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Company pension
  • Discounted or free food
  • Employee discount
  • Flexitime
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking
  • Private medical insurance
  • Sick pay
  • Store discount
