Full job description

Flexible Private Practice Opportunities
Edgbaston Wellness and MediSpa – Birmingham
50/50 income split after agreed consumable costs

Edgbaston Wellness and MediSpa is expanding its private medical and procedural services. We are seeking experienced doctors who want to establish or grow a specialist clinic without the cost and administration of operating their own premises.

We provide the facilities, systems, marketing and support. You provide the clinical expertise.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are invited from:

  • Consultant doctors with verified substantive consultant experience.
  • Doctors entered on the relevant GMC Specialist Register.
  • GPs on the GMC GP Register with an established and evidenced GP with an Extended Role (GPwER) scope.

We welcome proposals from clinicians working across dermatology, surgery, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, rheumatology, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, pain medicine, endocrinology, regenerative medicine and other outpatient specialties.

Develop Your Own Service

Our CQC registration covers:

  • Treatment of disease, disorder or injury: diagnosing and treating physical and mental health conditions.
  • Surgical procedures: performing approved operations and surgical interventions.
  • Diagnostic and screening procedures: testing using physiological measurement or imaging.

Opportunities may include specialist consultations, minor and skin surgery, joint injections, ultrasound-guided procedures, musculoskeletal treatments, men’s and women’s health, diagnostic clinics, regenerative treatments and other evidence-based outpatient services.

All services are subject to credentialling, appropriate facilities, insurance approval and procedure-specific practising privileges.

What We Provide

  • Modern consultation and treatment rooms.
  • A dedicated minor-surgery and procedure room.
  • Reception, booking and administrative support.
  • Clinical systems and patient-record management.
  • Nursing, healthcare-assistant and chaperone support where required.
  • Marketing, website and social-media promotion.
  • Access to our existing patient base and referral pathways.
  • Support with service development, pricing and launch.

Clear 50/50 Model

Agreed procedure-specific consumable costs are deducted from the patient fee. The remaining income is divided:

50% to the doctor | 50% to the clinic

The clinic’s share covers standard room use, marketing, administration, booking systems, payment processing and routine clinical support. Any exceptional equipment or staffing costs will be agreed in advance.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
  • Verified consultant, Specialist Register or GPwER status.
  • Relevant UK clinical experience and current competence.
  • Appropriate private-practice indemnity covering work at our premises.
  • Evidence of recent procedural activity where applicable.
  • Existing right to work in the UK.
  • A commitment to safe, patient-centred care and clinical governance.

Professional titles will always reflect the doctor’s verified qualifications, GMC status and current role.

Apply

Please send your CV and GMC number, together with a brief outline of:

  • Your specialist or GPwER field.
  • The service or procedures you would like to provide.
  • Your relevant experience.
