Medical Imaging Technologist jobs

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Radiographer / Mammography Technologist to join their Diagnostic Imaging team within an oncology and cancer care setting.

The successful candidate will perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density imaging, supporting patients throughout cancer screening, investigation and ongoing care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density scans.
• Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients undergoing cancer screening, investigation and care.
• Assess patients, obtain clinical histories and ensure appropriate imaging procedures are followed.
• Prepare equipment and assist radiologists with image-guided biopsy procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and follow radiation safety, quality control and patient-care standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience within an oncology/cancer care setting.
• Valid professional registration/licensure.
• Strong mammography, positioning and radiation safety knowledge.
• Excellent patient-care, communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: £63,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
