Site Technician – Offshore Wind & International Projects

The Role

We are seeking skilled and motivated Site Technicians to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and fabricated components on offshore wind and associated engineering projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy working in challenging environments, both overseas and locally, as part of a collaborative project team.

What you’ll be doing

· Assisting with the assembly and installation of offshore wind infrastructure

· Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections and mechanical repairs

· Diagnosing and resolving technical issues to maintain site operations

· Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety, quality and industry standards

· Completing accurate documentation, reports and maintenance records

· Working closely with engineers, technicians and project teams on site

· Supporting local contracts and activities between international rotations

· Providing team cover for holidays or absences where required

· Assisting Project Managers and Management with operational support tasks

What we’re looking for

· At least 2 years’ experience in a similar technical role, ideally within engineering, construction or renewables

· Relevant technical qualification in mechanical engineering, fabrication, assembly or a similar discipline

· Strong understanding of Health & Safety, risk assessments and safe systems of work

· Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods

· Ability to work at heights and undertake physically demanding work

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Full, current driving licence

Location & Right to Work

For employed positions, candidates should be based in Northern Ireland.

Applications from candidates based outside Northern Ireland may also be considered on a subcontractor basis, subject to project requirements.

As the role involves regular assignments across Europe, candidates must have the appropriate right to work in the countries where projects are undertaken for the duration of each assignment.

Desirable Experience

• Offshore wind turbine or offshore construction experience
• Plant or equipment operating experience
• Experience working in fast-paced, project-driven environments
