ABOUT THE ROLE

We're Aquila Heating - one of Warrington's busiest and most trusted heating companies, with nearly 1,000 five-star reviews on Trustpilot and Checkatrade. We're growing fast and looking for a skilled Gas Engineer who takes real pride in their work and genuinely cares about customer experience.

Ideally you'll be a dual-trade engineer - Gas Safe registered AND F-Gas qualified with air conditioning experience - but if you're a strong gas engineer keen to up-skill into AC and renewables, we'll support you to get there.

You'll join a tight-knit team, drive a company van, and work a solid Monday-Friday shift. No drama. Just quality work, decent money, and real room to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Domestic boiler installations and heating system components

- Boiler servicing and planned maintenance visits

- Breakdowns, fault-finding and repairs

- Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) and compliance checks

- For the right candidate: servicing and installing domestic air conditioning (single and multi-splits) alongside your gas work

- Clear customer handovers - explaining the system properly, not just waving goodbye

- Keeping job records up to date

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidate: a dual-trade engineer who is Gas Safe registered and also holds F-Gas with hands-on air conditioning experience.

Essential:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in boiler installation and heating

- Gas Safe registered - ACS minimum: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CPA1

- Full clean UK driving licence

- High workmanship standards - tidy installs, safety-first approach

- Strong communication skills with domestic customers

Desirable (not a dealbreaker):

- F-Gas Category I qualified with domestic air conditioning experience (single & multi-splits) - a real advantage

- OFTEC oil qualified

- Familiarity with Worcester Bosch boilers

ROOM TO GROW

This isn't just a boiler job. Aquila is also NICEIC registered, installing Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV & Battery Storage, and Air Conditioning (F-Gas). Already F-Gas and AC qualified? You'll put both trades to use from day one. Not yet? Prove yourself and there's genuine scope to train into air conditioning, renewables and electrics - fully supported.
